You experience a genuine glimpse into Spanish dining at Cafe Madrid. The authentic tapas are delicious. There is live music. The atmosphere has character and feels cozy. I imagine it will feel even more warm and inviting compared to the gleaming, modern buildings being constructed next door. The servers are engaged and friendly; it kinda’ feels like family. If you can’t get to Spain anytime soon, head over to Cafe Madrid to get a taste of Spanish culture while you enjoy a great meal.

Always a great experience! No liquor, just wine, sangria, and beer. Small plates of authentic Spanish tapas

This was my first time visiting the restaurant, and it truly exceeded expectations. We were seated alone in the third room, but our server made us feel like VIPs from the moment we sat down. He recommended several tapas and took the time to walk us through the entire menu with great detail and enthusiasm. Thanks to him, we tried the mussels and the garlic beef, both were absolutely delicious. The food was full of flavor and beautifully presented, but the highlight of the night was the kindness and attentiveness of the service. The manager also came by and was incredibly warm and thoughtful. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Cafe Madrid in Uptown Dallas had quite the Spanish feast! We ordered white sangria to kick things off along with olives plate for a simple start. They have a huge selection of delightful tapas to cater to vegetarian & non vegetarian folk. the garlicky bread with tomatoes and olive oil is always a winner, fried goat cheese with that sweet and savory caramelized onion and honey was a total bomb !!! Phenomenal flavor!! The lamb meatballs and potato bravas plate was good choice we made was full of flavor and cooked to the perfection! For the main courses, my wife got traditional mixed paella, & octopus and shrimp plate & I got saffron rice with Moroccan chicken, a lovely blend of flavors. There was live guitar music playing to entertain the diners in a cozy and romantic setting. We had a perfect evening out. It sounds like Cafe Madrid offers an immersive and enjoyable dining experience. Great & simple decor and the walls painted everything relating to Spain! Service was fast & extremely friendly and warm! Definitely going back. Goes straight into my favorite places to dine.

Nostalgic and beautifully homey. We started off with wine for their happy hour. Then moved on to their pitcher of sangria, delicious. Their lamb skewers were amazing! Paired great with their Brussels sprouts. Over all we wholeheartedly enjoyed our visit here. We will definitely be coming back.

We took a stroll through Knox Street in Dallas to explore. We just moved here in January and always love finding new restaurants. Cafe Madrid caught our eye we popped inside to check out a menu and were immediately greeted with such a warm welcome and big smiles. The restaurant was clean, and was buzzing already, even though it wasn’t primetime and the air smelled delicious. We had to stay and have a bite to eat. We love that it was topas style, so we could truly have a taste of what Cafe Madrid has to offer. Everything we ordered I highly recommend! We ordered Moroccan chicken, Beef skewer, Saffron rice, Shrimp and garlic sauce, manchego cheese and spinach croquettes, White sparkling sangria, And the Chardonnay blend. I truly wanted to keep eating my way through the menu, but I’ll just have to save it until the next time we return. If there were mountain tops in Dallas, I would scream from the top of them that you have to come try this place out, but since we are lacking mountains and hills, I’ll do it here on Google. COME CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! The owner Donica reached out to me on Instagram immediately as my story posts started flooding in with photos and how amazing the food was, which was another special touch point. She was so grateful for Spreading the love and sharing my posts. I come from many years of running restaurants and this establishment is a well oiled machine with delicious food, an amazing team, and it felt so good to just sit in this atmosphere.
